Western Valley Inn is looking for full-time/permanent Cooks

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.00~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  3

·         Work Location: 5402 Highway Street, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals followed by standard recipe

·         May train kitchen staff regarding preparation and cooking

·         Manage kitchen operations

·         Maintain accurate food inventories and order supplies and equipment

·         Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

·         Involve in planning of menus, deciding size of food portions, and estimating food requirements and costs

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
