Remuneration:

• Wage is $41 per hour
• Annual cost-of-living raise
• Discretionary year-end bonus
• Hours and schedule:
• Hours per week: 30
• Schedule: one manager on Monday to Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm; one manager Thursday to Saturday 10 am to 6 pm. Covering each other’s shifts might be necessary where the need arises from leaves for vacation, illness, and other reasons.

Duties:

1. Daily warehouse inspection
2. Confirm the package quantity to the manage system
3. Customer service, especially for escalations
4. Plan and direct warehouse operations
   • delivery and shipping logistics
   • employee assignments and schedules
   • manage machinery, building, and property, including identifying and arranging security, repairs, and snow removal requirements
5. Train, direct, and assist workers with correctly executing warehouse duties:
   • Package palletizing
   • SKU Verification
   • Receive package
   • Create a package catalog
   • Check dangerous goods reference to CDGP chart
   • Label packages
   • Calculate shipping weight to meet the carrier requirement
6. Complete daily management facility and staffing reports
7. Advertise, interview, hire, and dismiss staff as appropriate.
8. Establish and monitor compliance with warehouse budget, reporting on budget compliance to superior, Mei Zhang.
9. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

1. Post-secondary diploma (in a discipline related to business administration or operations management) or
2. Training, knowledge, and experience in warehouse operations/maintenance suitable to and sufficient for this position.
3. Ability to perform duties.
4. Class 5 driver’s license
5. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) BC Certificate
6. First aid certificate
7. Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) Certificate
8. Safety Management Systems (SMS) training not required but would be asset. If the successful candidate does not have this, then employer will provide it.
9. Experience:
10. Minimum six months of warehouse experience
11. Pallet truck experience
12. Microsoft office suite
