Description
PN Stealth Logistics Ltd is looking for 2 (two) Permanent, Full-time Truck Drivers who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.
- Location: Unit 132 8168 136A Street Surrey BC V3W2Z6 (Various other Location)
- Salary: $27.00 / hour
- Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 40.00 hours / week
- Start date: As soon as possible
Job requirements
- Education: Completion of Secondary School
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Security and Safety: Valid passport, Criminal record check, Drug test, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), AZ class license, Air brake endorsement (Z) is required
Documentation Knowledge
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Accident or incident reports, Trans-border documentation, Trip reports, Maintenance and repair reports
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short interurban routes
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Ensure that cargo is secure and undamaged, and all load-related documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assists with unloading trucks and warehousing and/or palletizing at customer dock locations and completing required documentation, as needed
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip like inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage.
- Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to vehicles as required per Company policies and procedures
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books
- Responsible to communicate with dispatchers and relaying pertinent information
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
