We are looking for a professional Transit system general manager for a well-known catering firm “Mcewan Enterprises Inc.” to work at various locations in Toronto.

JOB DUTIES:

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate overall food delivery operations through middle managers.

Formulate policies to establish the strategic direction for the organization, independently or in collaboration with the board of directors.

Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs.

Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
-
Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement company policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls.

Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to support organizational goals.

Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.

Represent the company or delegate representatives in negotiations and official functions.

Oversee the planning, execution, and management of food delivery operations.

Manage the budget to ensure financial accountability and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Develop and enforce policies governing food delivery transit operations, safety, and service quality.

Collaborate with senior leadership to address customer needs and cultivate strong relationships.

Strategically plan and optimize delivery routes and services to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.

Ensure adherence to food safety standards and implement comprehensive safety programs.

Research and adopt innovative technologies to enhance food delivery processes.

Supervise the recruitment, training, and professional development of food transit personnel.

Engage directly with customers to strengthen brand presence and satisfaction.

Create and execute emergency response plans for handling disruptions or unexpected events in food delivery operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $59.84 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
