B.C Royce Tiling Company Inc. is looking for Tile setter helper to join our team.
Title: Tile setter helper
Employer: B.C Royce Tiling Company Inc.
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 20.00 – CAD 23.00 per hour (negotiable)
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Business Location: 1108-4815 Eldorado Mews, Vancouver, British Columbia V5R 0B2
Work Location: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver area.
Requirements:
- On the job training will be provided
- General construction work experience is an asset
Main Duties:
- Load and unload trucks with equipment and materials such as tiles, hand tools, mixers, anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- Erect scaffolding or other installation structures
- Provide assistance in installation, repair or rebuilding of tiles
- Clean up damaged, outdated tiles and other hazardous materials at work sites
- Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading tiling cements, concrete, plaster, mastic, glue, or other adhesives
- Read blueprints, drawing and sketches to follow supervisor’s instructions
