Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $14.15~$16.65/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: 2-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Oversee kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specific dishes
• Supervise and schedule kitchen assistants
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas
• Records of food, supplies, and equipment 
• Maintain food inventories and order kitchen supplies
• Hire and train new kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• May plan menus, determine food portions and estimate the cost of food

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Language: English
