Position Info:

• Position: Baker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.00 ~ $18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30 ~ 44 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 4801 49 Avenue, Elk Point, AB T0A 1A0

Job Duties:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cakes and icings and frostings following standardized recipes or customized orders.
• Bake mixed doughs and batters.
• Create new recipes for baked goods for sale.
• Frost and decorate the cakes and other baked goods.
• Operate and maintain baking machinery.
• Ensure that products meet established quality standards
• Determine the type and quantity of goods and coordinate production schedules.
• Inspect kitchen and baking areas according to safety protocols.

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial baking experience is required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
