Compliance Mentorz is a commercial safety consulting company serving companies in Canada. We support companies in identifying and managing the risks to their success and safety with focus on transportation and occupational health and safety. Our goal is to assist you to meet existing provincial, federal and international commercial safety regulations, through a combination of training, mentorship and services.
To maintain our operation and provide effective services in the timely manner we are hiring for Full time Systems security planner for our office located at 139 Devon Road, Unit 3, Brampton, ON L6T 5L8 Canada
Duties:

Monitor system security and performance, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity protocols and providing feedback or training when necessary.

Investigate and resolve security incidents, including employee-reported concerns and potential cyber threats.

Manage security-related data entry and documentation, ensuring accurate and organized records of security logs, audits, and incidents.

Generate and review security reports from monitoring tools and audit logs, analyzing compliance with established security parameters.

Conduct security audits and generate compliance reports to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

Coordinate and assign security-related tasks to IT and administrative staff, ensuring smooth execution of security policies and procedures.

Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Maintain compliance with all security-related administrative and reporting procedures, ensuring timely submission of reports to management and regulatory bodies.

Prepare and present regular cybersecurity reports for senior management, highlighting security risks, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement.

Monitor and manage digital assets and access controls, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive data.

Develop in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threats, and compliance requirements to enhance security planning.

Train employees on cybersecurity best practices, including secure data handling, threat recognition, and incident response procedures.

Oversee the maintenance and security of IT equipment and software, coordinating repairs or updates as needed.

Develop and manage work schedules and security procedures for IT and security teams, ensuring collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
Education: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent experience –
Experience & Skills: – 1 to less than 2 years
Language: – English
Annual Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay.
