Sushi Ya is looking for F/T Cooks.

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $16.50-$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 766 Goldstream Avenue, Langford, British Columbia V9B 2X3

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare a variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes

·         Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized

·         Ensure the food meets quality standards

·         Maintain accurate food inventory

·         Oversee kitchen operations

·         Ensure staff is thoroughly trained on each menu item

·         May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staff

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~ 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
