Sushi Umibe is seeking F/T Restaurant Cooks.

Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $19.00~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30 ~ 40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1-11955 207 Street, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 1X6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals and food items according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.

·         Estimate and plan food portions and food requirements.

·         Inspect kitchen and work areas and keep them clean and sanitized.

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

·         Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment as required.

·         Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.

·         Participate in hiring and training kitchen staff.

·         Supervise kitchen staff and oversee kitchen operations.

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Language: English
