Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.25~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 7254 B Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC V0M 1A0

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
• 5 days of paid sick leave per year

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes
• Oversees kitchen operations
• Train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain good sanitation around the work area
• May assist in planning new menus and regulate the size of food portions
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience in commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
