Student Assistance Officer and Homestay Coordinator
Administrative officer to oversee and implement administrative procedures, establish work priorities, conduct analyses of administrative operations and co-ordinate school’s international student recruiting and homestay services.
•Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures.
•Counsel students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection, scheduling, school adjustment, attendance problems and study skills.
•Participate in student orientation programs.
•Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests.
•Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, forms, feedback and security services.
•Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports
•Homestay bookings, contacting host families, updating information database, procedures and contracts. separate point Deals with issues like; homestay moving, Pick up and Drop off, food quality and service quality in general.
•Visit host families for a seasonal check-up.
•Selling programs and upgrades. Process application for Student credit and vacation.
•Work and deal with school partners like agencies in South America and Toronto Area, sending prices, promotions and any issue regarding the client.
$24 per hour
35 hours per week
Completion of some college education
Experience 1-2 years in similar capacity
Ability to communicate in Portuguese and/or Spanish will be preferred
