Borrowell Inc. is hiring a full-time and Sr. Financial Analyst.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect financial and investment information about companies, stocks, bonds and other investments;
  • Examine and analyze financial and investment information (profiles of companies, stock or bond prices, yields and future trends);
  • Prepare company, industry and economic outlooks, analytical reports, briefings notes and correspondence’
  • Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts and calls for tender;
  • Analyze investment projects;
  • Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets;
  • Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance;
  • Variance analysis;
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed;
  • Develop models to analyze and explain economic behaviour and patterns; and
  • Prepare, present and manage budgets.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 2+ years experience in a financial analyst role;
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
  • Financial modelling experience;
  • Experience with SQL an asset;
  • Experience with Looker an asset; and
  • Strong English language ability.

Terms

The position is full-time and permanent at 40 hours per week. It pays $83,500 per annum, plus disability insurance, dental insurance, extended medical insurance, prescription drugs, paramedical services, telemedical. It includes 15 days of paid vacation.
