Employer and Location: Higher Level Sports Academy Inc. is seeking one experienced full-time sports instructor to join our team in the city of Calgary.

Position and Title: Sports Instructor  

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Position

Positions Available: 1

Languages: English

Education: No Degree, Certificate or Diploma

Experience: At least 1 year of experience  

Personal Suitability: Judgement, Organized, Reliable, Team Player Initiative, Client focus, Dependable, Effective interpersonal skills  

Terms of Employment:

• $20.00 per hour
• Full-time 30 hours per week
• 6 % vacation pay
• Employer-provided relocation is available for this opportunity

Specific Skills:

• Plan and carry out recreational, athletic, fitness and sports activities
• Assemble supplies and sports and game equipment
• Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques
• Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
• Conduct athletic activities
• Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
• Enforce safety rules and regulations
• Assist with special events
• Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
• Maintain and repair sports equipment.
