Solid Ground Contracting is seeking a F/T General Foreman/Woman – Building Construction.
Position Info:
- Position: General Foreman/Woman – Building Construction
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $35.04~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 7438 Gilley Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5J 4X5

Job Duties:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers including related apprentices, helpers and labourers.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
- Requisition materials and supplies.
- Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity.
- Train or arrange for training of workers.
- May participate in hirings and promotions of construction workers.
- Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed.
- Prepare schedules and other reports.
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of experience in the construction industry are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Language: English
