Position Info:

·         Position: Baker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $15.65~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1088 Homer St, Vancouver BC, V6B 2W9

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Make dough for pies, bread rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cakes and icings and frostings to standardized recipes

·         Bake mixed doughs and batters

·         Frost and decorate the cakes and other baked goods

·         Meet established standards by ensuring quality of products

·         Establish production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods

·         Train, recruit and supervise kitchen staff

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial baking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
