The Company Operating Name: Nickel City Motors Title of Position: Small Engine Technician Business Address: 84 Severn Crescent, Thompson, MB R8N 1M6 No# of Positions: 2 Terms of Employment: Full time permanent – year round Language Requirement(s): English Wage: 22.00$-25.00$ per hour to start Benefits Package (if applicable): Extended Medical and Dental Hours (each week): 32-40 Location of work: 84 Severn Crescent, Thompson, MB R8N 1M6 Education: Secondary Work Experience: 3-5 years experience Job Duties: -Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with supervisor and relay work required to be preformed with customer when over above work order -Inspect and test engines and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults and write up on potential work orders -Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment for Honda, Bombardier, lawn mowers, motorbikes, atv, etc -Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance and complete write ups -Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment as per work orders -Advise customers on work performed and general condition of equipment -Determine parts needed and provide to service manager Job Requirements: 3-5 years experience with small engine Punctual Willing to learn and train on our products Honda experience is an asset Bombardier recreation experience is an asset Willing to live in a rural town in middle Manitoba
