Description
We are looking for “Shipping Supervisors” for Sweets from the Earth located at 101 Canarctic Dr, North York, ON M3J 2N7, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise all aspects of shipping operations, including receiving, packing, labelling, and dispatching of goods.
- Manage and direct a team of shipping clerks, coordinators, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with inventory control personnel to replenish stock as needed.
- Ensure that goods are packed securely and accurately according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, shipping accuracy, and cost efficiency, and implement measures to improve performance as needed.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms.
- Resolve customer inquiries or complaints related to shipping issues and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security policies, procedures, standards, and regulations while actively engaging in their enhancement and refinement.
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Language English
Hourly Rate: $25 to $33 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
