Modern Granite & Marble is a specialty renovation partner in Edmonton supplying natural and engineered stone countertops, hand made tiles, hand made glass sinks, custom stone furniture, custom cabinets, and appliances in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeing a Cabinet Service Technician to join our team. The successful individual will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and finish repair functions to kitchen cabinets, vanities, and other cabinetry applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform services listed or not listed on work orders per job, be able to critique, inspect and write up in detail remaining items needed to take the job to total completion.
• Communicate and document electronically with forms and photos.
• Communicate and document work order sign off's, with site's and homeowners. Execute and perform issued work orders with the up most quality, and workmanship necessary to satisfy our standards, and the builders.
• Must be able to operate a table saw, miter saw and basic power tools. Capable of carrying small components on occasion, plus basic supplies and tools to designated construction site daily.
• Dispose of removed components on site, and maintain good housekeeping always.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of qualified experience in cabinet making or furniture repair.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work professionally with coworkers, home owners and builders in potentially challenging circumstances. Work well independently or in a team environment.
• Good English, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and prepare documents.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

• $27.00 – $30.00/hour
