Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $25.00~$29.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: B-4775 Joyce Avenue, Powell River, BC V8A 3B5

Job Duties:

• Prepare a variety of foods according to standardized recipes
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas
• Ensure food meets quality standard
• Maintain inventory and keep records of food, supplies and equipment
• Involve in the recruitment of kitchen staff and train them in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Develop menus and determine portion sizes
• Oversee kitchen operations

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
