Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $16.25~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1215 West Broadway Vancouver BC Canada V6H 1G7

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

·         Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes

·         Estimate food ingredients and costs

·         Observe the kitchen and food service areas

·         Make sure the kitchen staff and helpers are providing accurate services

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·         Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen cleaned and sanitized

·         May involve in training kitchen helpers in preparation, handling, and cooking of food

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
