Indaba Hair Studio are looking to add a talented, reliable, and professional Senior Hair Stylist to their team.

You must excel at listening to your client while identifying their needs and wants.

You Analyze a client’s hair, facial features, and advice on haircare needs

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are patient and outgoing, a self-motivated team player.

You possess Strong Styling Skills, and expertise in cutting both long and short hair

You have extensive knowledge in the latest colouring techniques and application processes.

You enjoy creating hair styles for formal events.

You are an expert at styling hairpieces, extensions, and wigs,

and at applying hair color, balayage, highlights, low lights, baby lights, chemical setting: straightening, curling

You closely follow safety, sanitation, and health standards, and follow the latest beauty trends

Barber tasks include: Shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and sideburns, trimming, cutting, and shaving hair using clippers, scissors, trimmers, and razors

You keep an appointment calendar, client records, and maintain workstations

Hours per week: 35 to 40hours, Tuesday to Saturday.

Two weeks paid vacation per year.

This is a fulltime position at Indaba Hair Studio Inc in Georgetown, ON
