NOW HIRING: ROOFER HELPERS

Hours of Work: 

Permanent employment, Full time 32 to 44 hours / week, daytime hours, early morning with possibility of overtime, weekend availability and asset 

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 months related experience (construction or physically demanding job/experience) with willingness to learn
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course an asset, but training available
• Able to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs and follow instructions
• Steel-toed safety boots

Duties: 

• Load, unload and transport construction materials for commercial roofers
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Outdoors, At heights, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Salary: 

Hourly Rate: At least $28.40 per hour commensurate with experience

Medical/health benefits after probationary period
