We are currently seeking a Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to work at heights, lift heavy materials, handle physically demanding tasks, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Additionally, they should have good time management skills, be reliable and dependable, and work well in a team environment.

Wage: $30.00 /hour

Work Location: Multiple locations across the Lower Mainland of BC.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and various roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
• Securely fit sheet metal flashings to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble and repair metal roofing structures.
• Apply waterproof coatings to masonry or concrete surfaces, both at ground level and underground.
• Construct, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofing work areas.
• Install, maintain, or replace single-ply roofing systems made from modified plastics, elastomeric materials, or asphalt-based waterproof sheets.
• May evaluate material requirements and prepare cost estimates.

Job requirements:

• Completion of a secondary school.
• One year of previous work experience in the same or a directly related job position.
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail.
• Client-focused, time management, and reliable.
• A team player with a strong work ethic.
• Own vehicle.
