Rice & Noodle is looking for F/T Restaurant Cooks.

Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $15.20~$18/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1236 Robson St., Vancouver, BC V6E 1C1

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare complete Thai meals: Pad Thai, Curry, Fried Rice, Yakiudon, and other signature menus
• Plan new menu items, regulate the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized
• Supervise kitchen helpers and other staff
• Train other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling food items
• Involve in recruiting process of kitchen helpers

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Language: English
