Skills Requirements:

• Education: completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail store supervisor experience is required

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers and other staff, ensuring efficient and smooth operations throughout the convenience store and post office

• Assign duties and prepare work schedules for cashiers and other staff to ensure adequate coverage and service during all operating hours

• Resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, to maintain high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

• Authorize payments and manage merchandise returns in accordance with store policies, ensuring a seamless customer experience

• Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise, including groceries, snacks, beverages, smoking supplies, frozen foods, and other store items, to keep the store well-stocked

 • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to assist management in making informed business decisions

• Hire, train, or arrange for the training of new staff, and monitor their performance to ensure that service standards are met

• Ensure the store’s visual standards, including product displays, signage, and cleanliness, are maintained to create an inviting shopping environment

• Support the team by performing cashier duties when necessary to maintain service levels and customer satisfaction

• Perform key holding and managerial duties as required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
