Skills Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a cashier or retail store supervisor is required

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, attendants, kitchen helpers, shelf stockers and cleaners to ensure efficient operations across the gas station and convenience store 
• Assign duties and prepare work schedules for of cashiers, attendants, kitchen helpers, shelf stockers and cleaners to ensure proper staffing levels and smooth service during all hours of operation 
• Authorize payments and manage returns of merchandise, ensuring compliance with store policies and customer satisfaction 
• Address and resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly to maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency 
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of grocery, ordering merchandise for food like hot chicken, dairy, bakery etc.  
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to support business decision-making and optimize store performance 
• Hire, train, or arrange training for cashiers, attendants, kitchen helpers, shelf stockers and cleaners and monitor their performance to ensure consistent service quality 
• Ensure the store’s visual standards, including product displays, signage, and cleanliness, are maintained to create an inviting shopping environment 
• Support the team by performing cashiers, attendants, kitchen helpers, shelf stockers and cleaners’ duties when necessary to maintain service levels 
• Perform key holding and managerial duties as required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
