Job requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people
• Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Willing to travel
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Walking, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods
• Personal Suitability: Reliability, Team player, Organized
• Additional Skills: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, Establish work schedules
• Workers Supervised: Cashiers

Specific Skills

• Assign sales workers to duties,
• Authorize payments by cheque,
• Authorize return of merchandise,
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters,
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages,
• Organize and maintain inventory,
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
