Position: Retail Store Manager
Location: Metrotown Shopping Mall, Burnaby, BC
Salary: $40.87/hour
Hours: 35 hours/week
Job Duties:
As the Retail Store Manager at ToKEN Studio Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the store's operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and oversee the daily operations of the ToKEN store.
- Supervise and manager staff to ensure top-tier customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and handle stock levels to maintain product availability.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives to increase revenue.
- Prepare financial reports, manage the store budget, and monitor sales performance to meet targets.
- Address customer complaints, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Study market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activities to drive sales and business growth.
- Oversee hiring, development, and retention of staff, ensuring the store has a motivated and skilled team.
Requirements:
- A university degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a retail store manager or in a supervisory role within retail operations; direct work experience in Metro Vancouver is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and manage a diverse team; proficiency in multiple languages is an asset.
- Demonstrated passion for customer service and a commitment to fostering a positive shopping environment.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and sales performance analysis.
- Strong leadership abilities combined with a keen understanding of market trends.
