Job duties:

• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the retail establishment

• Responsible for managing staff and assigning duties to staff

• From time-to-time conduct research and analyze market behaviour with respect to customer demand and competition to ascertain potential revenue

• Evaluate customer feedback and determine merchandise for resale

• Develop, implement and review price and credit policies with both vendors and customers

• Review vendor pricing from time to time to source and negotiate merchandise at competitive rates

• Develop marketing campaigns and implement marketing strategies to meet campaign objectives

• Create, monitor and review budgets and expenses in line with the management’s goals

• Responsible for the authorization of expenditures

• Address customer grievances, gather feedback and improve customer experience

• Resolve the issues and problems arriving at the store for the customers and staff

• Determine staffing requirements, oversee hiring, train staff and develop programs to retain staff
