Genki Sushi is a sweet little sushi restaurant cozy atmosphere with an ocean view patio that serves Japanese/Korean food in Powell River. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager as soon as possible.
Main duties
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Requirements
- Completion of High school
- Experience: 3 years or more of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
- Knowledge (or cooking experience) of Japanese culinary and operation of MS word, Excel, Outlook are asset
- Strong work ethic
