Comox Food Services Inc. dba A&W is looking for one Permanent, Full-time Restaurant Manager who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.

Work Location:  1966 Guthrie Road Comox, BCV9M 3X7

Position:  Restaurant Manager

Position Available: One (1)

Compensation: $24.04 per hour

Hours per week: 30 hours per week Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job duties and Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate daily operations
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Address customers' complaints or concerns

Skill Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Employment: 1 year to less than 2 years.
