Regina Lakeview Dental Centre is looking for Dental Hygienist.
Position: Dental Hygienist
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $42.00 – $42.75/hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:
• Conduct initial dental assessment, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of patient’s oral health history
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care and dental hygiene
• Remove sutures, plaque and apply fluoride
• Perform orthodontic procedures under the direction of dentist
• Clean and stimulate the gums to help protecting patients’ teeth
• Chart conditions of decay and diseases for diagnosis and treatment by dentist
• Take, develop and mount X-rays
• Fill cavities and replace portions of crowns

Educational Requirements:
• Completion of accredited college dental hygiene program or a recognized dental hygiene program is required.
Job Requirements:
• 1~2 years of previous work experience as a dental hygienist is required.
• Dental hygienist license by the appropriate provincial or territorial regulatory body is required.
