Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1860 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, British Columbia, V7V 1J6

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay
• Group Insurance – after 3 months probation

Job Duties:

• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, and estimate food requirements
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
• Schedule and supervise other cooks and kitchen staff
• Supervise overall kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and workstations
• Hire and train new kitchen staff

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
