VAAR Exteriors & Home Improvements Ltd located at 3339 CAROL DRIVE NW CALGARY, Alberta T2L 0K5 is looking for Full-Time/Permanent Purchasing Agent to join them at the earliest.
 

Salary: $40.00/hour

Job Duties:
• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, land or access rights, or business services for use or for further processing by their establishment
o Assess requirements of an establishment and develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
o Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, and review quotations
o Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
o Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
o Negotiate land acquisition or access rights for public or private use, and may conduct field investigations of properties
o Involve in the purchase of materials or business services such as furniture or office equipment.
 

Job Requirements:
1.) Completion of secondary school is required.
2.) Bachelor’s degree in business administration is an asset.
3.) Experience of 1 to less than 2 years in relevant field is an asset.
