Production Worker I (A-Shift or B-Shift)

We are currently recruiting for a Production Worker to join our Plant 1  Manufacturing team.   Reporting to a Production Supervisor, the Production Worker I performs routine manual tasks of limited complexity in the manufacturing plant.  Responsibilities include preparing and assembling varieties of glass/windows/door/ parts. Production Workers may be assigned to one particular line, or may be moved to various lines, depending on operational need. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in a manufacturing setting and demonstrated multitasking ability in a multi-cultural workforce.  They will bring knowledge of flow-line production and lean manufacturing in the manufacturing industry.  

In this position, your responsibilities will include…

• Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation
• Perform all functions as designated by All Weather Windows instruction while operating specified equipment.
• Follow all production procedures as instructed.
• Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections as necessary.
• Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as safety guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is operated according equipment manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications include:

• Good English communication or Intermediate level 5 of English is a minimum requirement.
• Exposure to plant production dirt particles, noise levels & other loud machineries
• Frequent to constant visual, hand/eye coordination demands
• Physical dexterity & highly repetitive tasks
• Physical bending, lifting, pushing, turning, and twisting up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand, crouch, bend, reach, and stoop for long periods of times.
• Heavy lifting required up to 50 pounds
• Know to use a measuring tape
• High attention to details & quality
• Overtime as required

Status of Position:

• Full-time, hourly position (openings for both A Shift and B Shift) 
• A Shift Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• B Shift Monday – Friday from 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Rate of Pay:

• $17.69 – $18.32/hour to start
