Job Duties
1. Supervise and care for children;
2. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children;
3. Prepare formulas and change diapers for infants;
4. Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and perform other housekeeping duties;
5. Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as needed;
6. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;
7. Instruct children in personal hygiene;
8. Support child’s emotional well-being and social development;
9. Shop for food and household supplies;
10. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;
11. Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings;
12. keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child;

Skill Requirements: Education, Qualifications, and Work Experience
1. Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
2. Completion of secondary school;
3. Experience in childcare or health-care industry an asset;
4. Criminal record check;
5. Child care or household management experience;
6. First aid certification for children;
