Calgary Parging Ltd. is seeking four experienced full-time plasterers to complete commercial and residential projects in the city of Calgary.

Job Type: Permanent Position, Full-time role

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience and Personal Suitability

•  At least 1 year of experience; and
• Dependable, highly motivated and hard-working individuals that are client focused. Capable of handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, physically demanding work that requires standing, walking bending, crouching and kneeling.

Terms of Employment:

• $26 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• 6 % vacation pay
• 3.6 % holiday pay

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demolition/removal of stucco, clean and prepare surfaces
• Waterproofing, metal flashing and building envelopes
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency (cement, acrylic finish and lime-based stucco)
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
• EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finishing System) installations and apply traditional sand and cement stucco
• Create texture finishes and install decorative details out of form, if require
• Repair cracks, damaged concrete foundations and parging work
• Spray paint exterior stucco
• Perform other related duties as required
• Commercial jobs require wearing personal protective equipment
