Requirements: Education: College/CEGEP (1 to 2 year program)

Experience: Minimum 1 Year to less than 2 years.

Languages: English

Main duties:

• Helped and directed patients in using supportive devices such as, crutches and canes.

• Contributed to a physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.

• Performed various treatments as prescribed and directed by a Registered Physiotherapists including gait training, balance exercises, range of motion, strengthening exercises and falls prevention techniques.

• Monitored and reported changes in health status of patients to the supervisor

• Provided timely and astute information to relevant team members about the patient’s performance

• Ordered prescribed assistive or adaptive equipment in need for the patients
