Dolce Salani Bakery Ltd dba Dolce Salani Bakery is looking for 1 permanent Pastry Chef at 642 Clark Drive,
Vancouver, British Columbia, V5L 3H8. Salary is 19 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week. (Even though
this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply).
Main Duties:
Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups etc.
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
Create new recipes
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is usually required. Cook's trade certification or equivalent credentials, training and experience are required.
