Job Duties:

1. Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers.
2. Selects the correct tools and read specifications to determine quantities of materials required
3.  Applies paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish on all projects.
4. Prepares, cleans, and tapes walls and other surfaces before painting.
5. Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
6. Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
7. Covers exposed objects and surfaces.
8. Uses fillers such as plaster to repair cracks.
9. Maintains an adequate inventory of paint, brushes, and other supplies.
10. Always follow workplace safety rules.
11. Cleans up worksite debris and keeps workplace and tools clean.

Languages: English

Education:  No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: one to less than seven months

Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend
