With the business expansion, we are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Operations Vice President with rich work experience to join our team in Vancouver. We expect a qualified candidate who has solid management skills and leadership experience in the construction or other related industries; establishes and formulates policies in an effective mode to maximize operational efficiency; be responsible for achieving business objectives and meeting customer commitment; performs in line with productivity expectations.

Job Duties:

Ø  Execute and communicate the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.

Ø  Monitor project status to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications and deliver client satisfaction.

Ø  Improve standard operations procedures to ensure day-to-day operations performance keep on track.

Ø  Develop, plan and implement operating budgets including budget preparation, authorization control and reporting of expenditures ensuring the efficient utilization of financial and human resources within objectives.

Ø  Establish departmental goals, objectives, and operating standards.

Ø  Review construction plans for value engineering and ensure optimal construction methods are followed.

Ø  Manage and coordinate activities, and contractual deliverables and develop positive relationships with internal staffing, third-party consultants in a timely manner.

Ø  Identify and recommend new processes to improve and streamline organizational processes.

Ø  Analyzes general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations.

Ø  Plan, develop and implement quarterly, annual and multi-year plans to achieve business objectives and goals.

Ø  Develop business strategies regarding building innovation and business expansion to achieve sustainable development.

Ø  Identify middle managers and other execute staff and appoint middle managers to implement safety-related topics for training to comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations.

Ø  A college diploma or university degree is required.

Ø  At least 3 years of industry-related work experience as a senior manager is required.

Ø  Proven record in leading for large-scale projects.

Ø  Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective partners.

Ø  Superb written and verbal communication skills.

Ø  Highly organized with strong analytical skills and experience in strategic planning and execution.

Ø  Demonstrated ability to utilize creativity and innovation in problem-solving and strategic planning.
