Job Description:
– Ensure effective resource planning and responsible for directing and evaluating day to day operations
– Manage store staff and assign appropriate duties to them
– Perform market research and keep up with market trends to determine customers’ needs, potential sales volume, and knowledge about competitors’ effect on sales
– Carefully analyze and determine products / commodities / services to be sold
– Analyze and balance daily transactions
– Communicate with various vendors and order products / commodities for resale
– Create / modify and implement marketing strategies
– Review price and credit policies and modify / amend them, if needed
– Determine overall staffing requirements and hiring of staff
– Responsible for planning budgets and authorize vendor payments
– Resolve problems such as customer complaints, supply shortages, any other problems which may arise
– Attend management meetings and report problems; also provide explanations / recommendations on related matters
– Overall responsibility of business location’s spot audits
