Ono’s of Japan is looking for full-time, permanent Head Chef.
You will be responsible for the following:
Prepare and cook various foods on the menu.
Make various kinds of appetizers.
Create new menus and recipes to cater to the customers’ demand.
Supervise chefs, cooks and kitchen helpers in their relevant duties of preparation, cooking and handling food.
Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation.
Take charge of keeping the kitchen clean and safe.
Ensure quality of food and portion control.
Train and teach cooking skills.
You need to meet the following qualification:
2-3 years of experience as cook is required.
Completion of Secondary school is required.
Language of work is English.
Your hourly wage will be $35.
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay.
