Position: Office Admin Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)

Hourly Wage: $25.00~$27.00 (Depends on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

UVANU International Consulting Ltd. is an education & immigration consulting agency based in Vancouver, Canada that has been operating since 2014 in search of solutions to our clients’ necessities, searching for not only English as Second Language (ESL) schools, but also career vocational colleges & public colleges and universities as well as client’s various immigration PR application options.



  • Produces timely, accurate and well formatted documents using various software
  • Checking email inbox and redirecting mail
  • Assist the team with office supply management
  • Schedule and make necessary arrangements
  • Determine and establish office procedures
  • Supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software
  • Shipping and receiving of packages
  • Ensure all areas of the office remain tidy
  • Effectively handle phone and email correspondence
  • Greet visitors and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings
  • Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Other administrative duties as assigned



  • Completion of secondary school is usually required
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required
  • 1-2years of previous experience in a similar roll may be preferred



  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong administrative skills; attention to details and excellent organizational skills required
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
  • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments
  • Ability to work with confidential documents and manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
