Position Info:

• Position: Merchandise Purchasing Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $45.00-$48.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 200 – 7 East 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 1J3

Job Duties:

• Plan and control expenditures and budgets
• Plan and implement policies and procedures for purchasing
• Assign, coordinate, and evaluate projects and programs
• Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
• Oversee the analysis of historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities to the business
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
• Train, direct and motivate staff

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a purchasing agent or officer are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
