Nanny

Hello! My name is Jacalyn, and we are searching for the right individual to be a nanny for our 3 young children. My company operates under the name, "Jacalyn Zeljeznak" and it is located in our own home, which is on an acreage 5 kms west and 2 kms north of Drayton Valley AB. Our rural town of Drayton Valley is 1.5 hours south-west of Edmonton. This is a full-time permanent position with pay of $16.00 per hour, for 40 hours of work per week. 

We will pay for your transportation to relocate to Drayton Valley if you do not currently live in the area. Public transportation is not available to our acreage. Optional accommodation available at no-charge on a live-in basis, however this is NOT a condition of employment. Persons wishing to apply must have a criminal record check done.

We are a English speaking, non-smoking household.

Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks

We are looking for an individual who takes initiative, is organized, uses good judgement, demonstrates flexibility and reliability, They must be a team player, have effective interpersonal skills, is client focused, has excellent written communication, and oral communication skills.

We would require some light housekeeping and cleaning duties performed.

Children's Ages: 6, 5, and 3 years old

Specific Skills: Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Supervise and care for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Change diapers for infants. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children.

Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Work Setting: Employer's home

First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate recommended.
