Nail Care Technician (NOC 63211)

Salary: $14/hour

Vacancy: 4 Positions

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Language: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

Work Setting: Esthetician's salon

Personal Suitability: Client focus, Punctual, Attention to detail, Good customer service skill, Able to sit and do repetitive jobs, Able to work independently, Able to keep equipment sanitized and safe

Tasks:

Body care/treatments

Provide general information to customers on beauty products and advise customers on the use of nail products

Clean, trim and polish nails, Nail art technics

Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions

Facials

Manicures

Pedicures

Waxing Give facial

other body treatments such as waxing using specialized products

Clean, shape and polish fingernails and toenails and provide related treatments

Apply lotions after hair removal

Prepare and keep work area clean and safe

Keep work stations stocked with products for customers and for jobs to be completed

Greet customers and address their needs as well as upsell additional services

Use machines such as grinders, sanders and scrappers safely on customers

Other duties that applies

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Hand-eye co-ordination
