Music teacher – Private, Conservatory Or Studio Lessons

Description

• Teach technique, interpretation and music theory to students through private or group lessons
• Inspire students’ love for music and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning
• Prepare lesson plans, define teaching objectives and formulate the lesson curriculum; Advise students on program curricula
• Administer and conduct an active choral program; Provide individual and group vocal coaching
• Make periodic examination plan to correct the deficiency of students' skills in a timely manner
• Collect, sort and archive teaching materials; Manage the use of instruments and teaching equipment
• Organize students to participate in internal or external performances and various school activities
• Coordinate and direct major activities involving all choirs ensembles
• Comfortable dealing with kids and parents, discussing achievements and expectations
• Organized and committed, with a professional appearance

• Musical training from a university or college or through private instruction is usually required.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience in subjects of Music or Art is required.
• Enthusiasm about music and love working with young children.
• Experience working with children aged 4 years – 12 years old in a classroom setting is an asset.
• Professional, mature, warm, patient and nurturing.
• Be able to take initiative and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
