Description
Canaan Meat Shop is located at 6911 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E 1E5. We are currently looking for full time Meat Cutters-retail or wholesale. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Meat cutter – retail or wholesale
Types: Full-time, Permanent (part time also available)
Wage: CAD$20.50/hour
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Cut, grind, weigh, package, label and price meat, meat products for sale;
• Suggest alternative meat products to consumers;
• Answers questions regarding types, cuts, and suggested preparation of meats;
• Inspect the quality of meat and rotate before expiry;
• Receive and store merchandise following the company’s standards;
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards.
Job Requirements:
• Education: not required;
• Experience: not required;
• On-the-job training provided.
